During my two decades working in corporate America I witnessed many of the mental health problems common in the modern workplace. I knew many people could benefit from professional counseling provided by someone with an insider’s perspective of the challenges and stressors, both personal and professional, so prevalent today. With this in mind, I returned to school to obtain a master’s degree in social work and opened a private counseling practice in my hometown of St. Petersburg.
As a therapist I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches to help individuals address problems frequently encountered in their professional and private lives. I provide my clients with a safe, supportive setting to explore new skills to improve communication (with both themselves and others) and to discuss new behaviors that can create a healthier, happier life.
I offer flexible appointment times to accommodate busy lifestyles and a sliding fee schedule based on a client’s ability to pay.
Finally, I realize it is essential that you feel comfortable and productive in a counseling situation. For this reason I offer a free initial session to determine whether I am the right person to help you reach your particular counseling goals. The best results always come from working together as a team to build a pathway leading to good mental health and a meaningful life.
